so we come to the end of another week. all i can say is thank goodness for that. i have had about 50 meltdowns this week. so my next source of procrastination is blogging. on we move to plus ones. you'll all love this i'm sure.
what is the etiquette of a bringing a plus one? when being invited to parties and things...if one has a significant other...does one assume that they may bring them along? i've always wondered. i've had many invites say "anne & friend"...not that i've really utilised these since of course i am still single. i mean i've been jeannie's plus one to a few things...is that weird? i guess it is. not only because she is dragging me to something...she's dragging me to something as a plus one.
on the flip side, what does it mean when you get invited as a guy friend's plus one...or vice versa. i'm sure it must hold SOME implications of something going on. i mean i'd quite happily accompany a guy friend to a party...but that's cos they think i'm a guy in a chick's body. and it very very very rarely happens.
so my question of the week is...getting asked to be a plus one by friend of opposite sex...friendly night out or date?

As for the plus one, I dunno, but I think it's dangerous if you aren't interested in the inviter. Because, if i was asking someone as my plus one, and they accepted, well yeah, things are BOUND to happen.

i just saw the " :) " and then got a flash of inspiration to comment.
as to the state of my mental condition, yes i may be crazy, yes i may scare you ppl but it all stems from you guys and your actions (and no garry yet again not specifically you, i mean in a general guys way). i just happen to be not one of those typical chicks with out a spine.
you know, you're getting more unsubtle. that is the most undisguised thing you have ever written, not counting anti-man rage. and you may have a spine...but you're as transparent as hell.
sorry im new to looking at other peoples blogs and i read your top article. I would say that it is down to what ever you think it is. If you want to consider it a date then Im sure the guy will let you know if its not, if on the other hand you just go as a friend simple body language would inform the guy that this is no date. Im a guy and though Im not very good at the whole date thing I would get this jist if someone considered going out was NOT a date. Im going to have a look at the rest of what you've written now ;).

at this point in time, i don't have the energy to be subtle. and everytime it seems that we try to be subtle we're accused of some hienous crime.
yet again i would like to reiterate anne that that whole part about spines was not directed at you. and you know predicable is just another round way of describing a level of transparency too.
