crazy banshee woman

am still recovering a bit from IS ball last night. i have to admit it was a lot better than last year's one. don't know if i can be bothered writing up a full thingie from start to finish. oh well i might as well. we got ready at jeannie's house, and in a determined effort to actually get to the place on time this year, we decided to get ready a bit earlier. HAH like that really made a difference. having 3 chicks in the one tiny bathroom crowded around one mirror trying to do their makeup at the same time is really not a good idea. i had a hard time with the bloody curling iron this time round...with the result of looking like a crazy banshee woman. anyway after we all got gussied up and got to the ball (an hour late...good effort)...we discovered half our table hadn't even arrived yet. so much for panic. i really can't be bothered typing out all that happened. in short form? got there, took heaps of photos with...well with everyone. had some ok food, had better drinks (didn't like the waiter who was going to charge me $6.50 for a free drink). danced a bit...had some alco...danced a whole lot more. found out creepy menswear guy was also at ball...spent most of night trying to avoid being seen. apart from the unfortunate incident of annie and jeannie taking my camera and taking a photo with creepy menswear guy, there was little to make my night yucky. giving this night a 7.5 stars out of 10. the music was definitely better than last year...the company was excellent...and the shoes were not painful. except for when my foot got stepped on about 50 million times. OH! i almost forgot that we invented our new "sexy dance"...also known as crazy chicken running man dance. that really got everyone excited! so crazy amy was happy with her 18 or whatever shot glasses, ali was happy that he got to see some (or ALOT!) of amy's cleavage, jeannie was happy with her toyboy army, and everyone else was happy with a little alcohol in their system. so the night finished with us doing nothing for a few hours, then all piling into a double bed and conking out. really exciting. then woke up this morning, got home and took a shower and it was off to kathy's birthday at margo's in crown. and now skip to now where i have really bad sore throat and still coughing. so i think i'll go find some tea or something. wow, it turned out to be a long post after all
